Truth and Understanding

I feel that I have caused a very dear friend some pain, this is to you, and I am truly sorry if I have stepped over that line...

Truth and Understanding
by Amber "V" Moonstone
5/11/12

There is a line that is drawn
so clearly defined and visible,
This line never erases
nor does it step over the other side.

When the line is crossed,
one can feel the outcome,
the consequences for stepping over,
the point of no return.

That line, invisible as it may appear
still exists in all facets of your life,
It is an unspoken rule
that you never break.

It can be a fine line,
but never the less,
still a line that divides right and wrong.
On occasions, the line is crossed,

Chances are taken
living out of the box,
supercedes sensibility.
Sense never crosses over that line,

Only courage and boldness
marches right on by.
This can sometimes be miscontrue d
as selfish or non-caring.

Misunderstandings occur.
So if you find yourself stepping over that line,
be sure to tell the people involved,
what you're true motivations are,

and be ready to hear their truth!

I like this poetic expression Viv
depending on the line crossed is crucial
I crossed a line one time with one of my
friends back in the day with a big passionate kiss on their lips
wow they were shocked...lol

sweet lady if you have ever crossed a line it must surely have only been with the best intentions

Honesty of thy heart cannot be contained by dimensional boundaries,
but only by those who choose not to hear, which is a barrier built not by trust,
but the hand of one who does not understand.
Time may be the only key to unlock this door.
I hope you don't have to wait on its threshold.

You are so right. There is a fine line, and sometimes that fine line is our undoing. Thanks for teaching us.

Very expressive and heartfelt poetry. Sometimes folks do not know where the line is and they cross it right before our eyes. It happens all too often when we are driving. There are lines and limits folks ignore. When they cross my path and speed away I think that may be the only race they have won the whole day. Amen...

Amber,
Hopefully your poem will be read and understood by the one who needs to hear your words. We have all unintentionally steeped over the line at least once. Your write is a better way than most of righting it.

Amber....We are all guilty of crossing boundaries. It takes time to understand why and learn how to set them.

God Bless you,
