Sinking into the moist air..

Harmony
by Amber "V" Moonstone
7/18/12

Sinking feeling
state of confusion
not knowing what's up.
Missing something.

Hearing sounds of restlessness,
trappings of depression,
sounds of silence,
ringing in the mystery tones.

Will it be today?
perhaps tomorrow,
only time will tell,
when that last breath is taken.

Can you stand the mystery?
time is on their side,
life is short,
life is most important.

If you worry about what is to be,
you are not living in the moment,
tomorrow will come,
but today is fleeing fast.

Do not fear the unknown,
just dive into the moment at hand,
do not risk missing out on love,
for if you do, you will be sorry.

Live for today,
love for the moment,
hope for tomorrow,
and find yourself some peaceful rest.

Journey toward your destiny,
embrace each moment that you breathe,
hold onto the ones that love you,
and reject disharmony..

Isn't this something we need to repeat to ourselves frequently? Anxiety is a human experience, only we are projected into the future, constantly thinking. And anxiety can drain a lot of energy. A clear invitation to keep this in mind, Amber.

I think you offer sound advice through your verses here, Amber. Thank you. Love and best wishes,

Like the line from the old song, “if you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with.” Echoes your thoughts like mine. Life is too short to spend it pining away on something that will never be when you could have something now that might be better than you ever thought.

Your poem speaks to my mission: to grab hold of those deep down and depression and have them pull themselves up by their bootstraps to a better life.

Thanks for sharing.

This has so much practical information Amber, for we must all follow and walk down our path. We must be conscious of what is important, for what will be will be so we must never miss a moment of happiness or love. We need to as you say "reject disharmony"

Beautiful write sweetheart

living in The Now maintains the spirit and keeps it lucid ... the mystery of The Now is constantly in flux ... disharmony is when the spirit detaches itself from The Now, concerning itself with only subjective matters ...

excellent poem ... inspired and informative ...

The title covers already totally this beautiful reflection of how to live a happy and harmonious life. Many times we forget these golden rules.

Very good write Amber, thank you
