I waited too long
and you left one final note
before leaving

It was dated February 21st and read
"To my friend hope all is well"
You were my dark dreamer
who saw the light before I did

I often forget
That young women haven't tasted life
And like a rose need tending
a gentle touch and little rain

I'll go where we first met
and ask the VisionSeeker
for Whimsical me
But I know what he will tell me
"That she left and won't ever return"

So goodbye my dark dreamer
with your nightmares and roses
Heal well and forget

An interesting, yet sad write. So meloncholy as if you could have done more. Life is what it is. Enjoyed.

Be safe,
Karen
