There are two women whom I love, admire, and adore. I am blessed to call them life mate and step-daughter.
i watch them -
two mirror images of
living classic beauty
gracing the everyday
stage called our life.
timeless connection
of genetic perfection
such strength and power
in feminine posture -
two harmoniously carved bookends
to tomes filled with the adventurous spirit
that lives and breathes in and all
around them.
mother and daughter,
spectacular illumination
of time blessed
from generation to generation,
like two great rivers flowing
into one grand sea.
i stand on the shoreline,
admiring what has become
one of the greatest works
of art i've ever had the honor
to see -
and i pause to give thanks
that THEY are what i proudly call
my family.

Familia Primera!
I am sure that these delightful
poetic sentiments are for Bloo Gurl and Cody.
"like two great rivers flowing
into one grand sea.' pretty well sums it up poetess.
Such a well of love you have in you to share.
Blessings ...
