Needle of belonging
smoking trail of faith
destiny depicted
in shades of lizard's grey

U-turns & accidents
jumping into the red lights
the unknown around the corner
a powdered mirror breaks

busy fumbling
with the drug of life
I recall that pain
is a recurring side effect

leaden pipes of weakness
the wind lies in the gutter
astonishing corruption
this veil of rot exhales.
