She Eats Buttercups For Breakfast

thanks richard for the inspiration...they fit again

 

Eliza...eliza Blue...how a name can sing

She sparkles she glitters
steals your heart with an impish grin
a certain kind of magic
that draws your heart right in

Eyes whose beauty will charm you
in their inquisitive guileless way
the color of liquid sapphire
hair the color of autumn hay

She's funny she's serious
in her curious happy way
the brightest star dancing
in the whole of the milkyway

She cartwheels through the rainfall
sleeps snuggled in an angels wing
eats buttercups for breakfast
Eliza...eliza Blue...how a name can sing
