here I am...damn talkin my ass off on the phone all alone wishin' i was talkin with you but that's not true here I am...damn talkin to myself thinking about you wondering why I don't even try to get by that last good bye hello, hello are you there or am i just standing here talkin to myself? have you ever tried to rhyme yourself when you're all alone talkin' on the telephone to yourself? have you ever tried to write poetry and the best you could do was write history that's long gone? oh hell, i have nothin' to say, anyway thought i'd just give you a call that's all
