I wished for you, silent sentinel of the gap...
No hate, but quiet above the flowing river
to stand playfully on Free childish imagination
With no care for the world above Bridge so visible
Now trembling with the weight of its age
Where once laughter and play
Now mournfulness and beyond
Now I lately learned dying
The alienation of a few things
Flowing waters below breath-taking skies
Replaced by the upkeep to downfall
Generations left and have gone
Just go on...brave one
No one to point the way
Through the dense overgrowth of indifference, clues
You have done much remembered bridge
work no more, rest in innocent gain.
