The words in this poetry cry out in the pain of isolation and abandonment, two events of life that engender hopelessness and despair.
Know this, Lyndsey Nelson, there are people right here in Authorsden who understand your pain and are here to help. And right now I want you (and anyone else who shares these troubled feelings) to go to Jean Pike's den and read her lovely poem When it Rains.
And there are many other postings here that are so great for when life seems overwhelming. Lyndsey, focus not on where you have been or where you feel you are now. I leave you these words from my bio page, and they work wonders: "What I focus upon becomes reality. I have the power to choose."
I send you my heart and my prayers,
Richard |

Sad sentiments, Lyndsey. I sense symbolism in your verses as well. Love and best wishes,
