Don't assume that you can tell someone that you love them later. There may not be a later.
|
Is today the day?
Summer comes and soon it goes and no one really ever knows, if when it comes back again we will even be here then.
There is so much that we take for granted; we act as though we were forever planted.
Each day as we leave the ones we love, we need to thank the Lord above
for giving us the chance to say "I love you and will think of you today."
I've no idea when it may end, and so each day my love I'll send.
And if I assume that today's that day, and if I live my life that way;
I know that I will not forget, and I'll have nothing to regret.

| Yes, is what comes to mind and heart. Yes, this is the way to be; and, you've expressed it so clear and lovingly. |

Wonderful philosophy, Glen...always tell someone you love them today, because there may not be a tomorrow...I think the Mississippi Bridge tragedy speaks for Is today the day?...how many of those folks never said I love you on that day, how many of those victims were not told by someone I love you...it's always good to say I love you...a Hallmark verse, Glen...be well always...Blessed Be.
Warmly,
Sage |
