It's not what we haven't yet done that haunts me, it's what we have already done that does.

                Hindsight is 20/20

We keep our eyes wide open, yet there's just so little that we see,

of the world such as we knew it and what we have let it come to be.

We have taken what we knew was good and removed it from our sight,

Now it's coming back to haunt us when we always knew what's right.

School prayer, the Ten Commandments, discipline and compassion,

No longer are the way to go... I guess they're out of fashion.

We must go back to where we started, it cannot end right there;

Let's live by the Ten Commandments and reinstate school prayer.

Discipline may be tough love and it may not be the answer,

but what we get without it, is growing like a cancer.

And compassion for your fellow man is worth the time to mold,

for when it's truly needed, it's worth it's weight in gold.

I believe that God truly directed your thoughts and your pen. He needs to be in our daily lives. Parents need to teach their children about Him and to walk His walk and talk His talk.

Dear Glen, the day they wouldn't allow prayer in schools the Ten Commandments went out the door!
I couldn't agree with you more on these issues, and a few others.

When the CAS allows a child of 14 who willingly wants to have sex with a boy deemed none of the parents concern...then in my opinion they've gone completly insane. Our world is growing increasingly cold.
Amazing write Glen, Blessings, Holly

Glen you could not have said it any better. Yes, we have given up, not lost, so much from what this county was founded on. Yet it seems that not very many care these days, only interested in their back pockets.....

Be safe,
Karen

We should all live with compassion and love for one and another ,, it should not be old fashioned,,, but the fashion of today. We need to teach our childern,, and learn from them as well.

Glen, you are an inspiration to all,,,,always your friend, Christine
