Hindsight is 20/20
We keep our eyes wide open, yet there's just so little that we see,
of the world such as we knew it and what we have let it come to be.
We have taken what we knew was good and removed it from our sight,
Now it's coming back to haunt us when we always knew what's right.
School prayer, the Ten Commandments, discipline and compassion,
No longer are the way to go... I guess they're out of fashion.
We must go back to where we started, it cannot end right there;
Let's live by the Ten Commandments and reinstate school prayer.
Discipline may be tough love and it may not be the answer,
but what we get without it, is growing like a cancer.
And compassion for your fellow man is worth the time to mold,
for when it's truly needed, it's worth it's weight in gold.
