My husband doesn't do well during the holidays because of these same feelings. Granted, he has our children, now, which helps... but he has two boys he never gets to see...it's so sad.
I could never know what this feels like!

A sad and touching write my friend, yes I can relate as I have many children in my classroom whose list to Santa included wanting to see their fathers for Christmas...a sad and realistic write my friend. I'm glad to be back home at the den...I've missed everyone. God bless and Merry Christmas!

Indeed, not having seen my son on christmas morn for 13 years I more than relate to the pain, just hoping he's happy, this year i'll see him boxing day.
Many have no idea of the pain. Thanks for writing this as for certain reasons i can't even write on here anything on this subject matter... |

A sad situation for a father that cannot see his children, whether it is Christmas or any day of the week,,, hard on the child as well, a no win situation.
