Here we are …

No matter how long we live

None of us will live forever.

The inevitable stops us dead

And there’s nothing more beyond.

Here we are, nonetheless …

Well said, Philip! Last line says is the kicker. I recall a long philosophical conversation with friends that concluded with one pounding the table and declaring, "Thank God I am an atheist!" And so the unending controversy abides... Carolyn

Nice try, (atheists), but eternity with God offers a more burning desire to help, a hope for the future, a yearning and expectation of ....eternity with Him Connie
