as it was in this life
in a moment that passed between us in a dream
you said nothing and told me everything
as you healed me with the love that grew
wrapping me like climbing vines and
all the safety I have not known
from another in my life
upon this planet
spiralling into
oblivion.
knowing
poured into me
filled with longing
and a thirst for belonging
to you that leaves my eyes heavy,
closing to take me further on the journey
where you will sit by my side and be home
where you have always wanted to be but have
not yet remembered, having slept through this life
as if it was a dream.
