Bound and Determined

I am far from home
stars fade and fall fast this cold night
leaving me alone
remembering

Home is just a time
A moment in a memory
rhythm in a rhyme
unraveling

Time is all I got
Wand’ring aimlessly through this world
that is not what I thought
it might have been

Bound, determined this time
I blazed a trail, fearlessly,
but burned out too soon,
extinguished,
reduced
to ash.

To ash,
so used
to ember
where ghosted flame burns
and kindles the fire in you --
bound, determined this time.

Time is all I got
Tracing the steps to where I tripped
Connecting dot by dot
far back to when

Home was lost in time
stopped cold by white hot truth rising
In shadowed dance sublime:
alive, again

I am far from home
a thousand suns beating within
chilled to bone I am
forgetting

This sounds lyrical enough to be a song, with a sad and haunting melody.
Hope all is well.

It seems to me that sadly, your verses "speak" of a universal theme of this world/life, Dawn. Very meaningful and moving. Thank you. Love and best wishes to you,
