just there, out the corner of the eye

a flash of something light

pivot around look up and down

yet nothing in your visible sight

travel upon the astral plane

the land of lucid and internal dreams

colored landscapes  of vast expanse

black and white streets of urban domains

creation exists because one thinks

a complete dimension of personal beliefs

all collected and assembled

a  world created alive and well

for you to explore and experience yourself

the characters here all play their roles

every fear you have, every joke you’ve told

pain and suffering, delight or amusement

they are all indifferent to your 3D world

a sub dimension, an inner plane

existing through your DNA

and every thought of your working brain

what you love and what you hate

who said that and what you ate

intricately stored and tucked into

an astral plane created by you

its where you go when you fall asleep

the place you dream and meet those things

you’ve always wondered or didn’t say

the subconscious realm has tucked away

and as you awake and walk this world

noticing some truth in your rear view

are those flashes of light just beyond

another dimension of another’s thoughts

and perhaps this life is another’s dream

and we are living upon  their astral plane

playing the characters of someone’s thoughts

makes one wonder...does it not?

Mostly it IS my dream - yet I wondered just yesterday morning. I reflected on waking that 95% of the "characters" in my dreams are "self" created. They are NOT and do not represent any person I know or ever did in this physical plane although they may be "types" I've known or thought about. And the places are almost always synthesized from several buildings or places I've lived in or known at different times. Thankfully my dream worlds are better built and MUCH CLEANER than our "real" world. And the people are pleasant. The last "girl" I spoke to just before my dawn awakening was at an "astral" Sierra Club meeting. She was so loving, creative BUT when I talked of a "dream" trouble I was having "She became a bird and flew away"...

The experementation into thought can bring one to question even the very moment of which we find ourselves...there are those who can see beyond the normality of realirt, all it takes is the expansion of the mind...

a very interestingly written piece...

enjoyed...

A great look into the inner psyce and that what is! We all take being able to think and rationalize for granted. What happens when a person is robbed of that ability. Its happening to many.........M

Have you consider that having so many eons between His hands Got simply went diversifying? Say, a third dimension is preceded by a second and a first, then, what is there to stop God to have surrounded us with multiples dimension, worlds and astral planes?
When we sleep, where our spirit go? When we meditate we transcend unconsciously to another plane?
You make us to wonder.

Georg

You are so right and there does often for all of us I think seem to be something oor someone just always a little bit out of focus or who we can't see quite clearly...perhaps another plane of existance or a parallel world...who knows but your write certainly made me think about it.

Your words bring me to deep thoughts this morning. A song by Bobby Caldwell comes to my mind.
I wish you much peace, love, and light,

Your last stanza reminds me of my poem "Am." I am completely enthralled by your thoughts and continue to see a kinship between them and my own - it often feels like "home." The rhythm here is sound and I love the idea of what lies in the periphery.
