Poem: Based on the Fibonacci Sequence (each number added to the next)
1,1,2,3,5,8,13,21

here
earth
looms large
blue marble
home to many kinds
humans, animals, birds, fish, plants
diversity of beliefs, perceptions, and ideas
where one questions reality, duality, concepts, purpose, direction, and life

our
sun
above
a young star
provider of light
upon a system of darkness
magnetic pull, solar gravitation to the field
huge to our viewing, our senses, measurements, and the planets of our solar system

A great way to put our Earth life and all it entails into prospective! WELL DONE !....M

This really puts things in perspective for me, Debby, in terms or relational sizings. And yet, amazing, isn't it, that it is only Earth (in our solar system) that has this miraculous tension of all strands required to make life as we know it happen and sustainable.

"provider of light
upon a system of darkness" is very thought-provoking. Like the tight form you have chosen for this. Kate xx

It always amazes me when I see the planets grouped like this so we can get an accurate perspective! Very nicely done Debby!

You're not only a web/graphic wiz but a poetry tech wiz. I never heard of the sequence idea in poetry, but it stands to reason to be a great tool as you've shown. In music I've done it but not in poetry.
Wow your imaginations just flows into any waiting vessel...

Totally fascinating... It gives one time to think about where they fit on the grander scale. Loved this!

And they said that size doesn't matter! (sorry, LOL)
But this one is a keeper! (I am an astronomy fanatic, kind of, crazy?)
