top photo is of the tumblebrush which arrived with its dozen cousins around the yard....

cool nights blushed the more delicate leaves

the daylight winds blew more than a breeze

delivering the tumbles of new season

unfinished thoughts dangled mid air

light years away I blinked

awaiting another awareness

seekers sat upon their alters

twisting the verbs introspective

some gave voice and sang more loudly

some held modifiers noiseless

I rarely give gentle

my way beyond summer

grasping the moment of autumn’s loose change

laying on my back

looking up at the cloud line

somewhere between ceaseless and now

~summer and autumn are dancing~

"unfinished thoughts dangled mid air"; "somewhere between ceaseless and now" - what terrific lines! Consciousness evolving with you on its cusp - leading the way to expansion in every direction.

"...unfinished thoughts dangling in mid air..." how a gentle way to say it and have the rest of the poem dangling from it!
