i wasn't sure where this was going until it finished writing itself...perhaps it is teaching me something to know...

to describe the sensation

that filters this mind

blank of relevance

inspired to do, but what?

what spurns this fret

of silence sit?

physical energy charges

moving through veins

and flesh

yet magnetically planted

gravity anchors feet to floor

and bottomside upon this chair

as if bliss were a tingling

impression known only

to this body moment

lingering as it passes through

the energy moves as waves

like wind sways the trees

at times a gentle soothing

where one basks in healing thoughts

and feels comfortably refreshed

at times propelled into swirls of

vortex action cascading uplifts and

abrupt downdrafts, sprawling to

catch ones breath

or the wince of squinting sight

upon something so intense it nearly

knocks you flat and one finds itself

quickly experiencing an afternoon nap

as the physical overloads and then downshifts

into the astral realm

now visual flashes leap forth at light speed

through scenarios unleashed by  the opened

subconscious pouring freely to release emotions

and expressions held by the cellular structure

of the physical self unbeknown beyond the

guardian egoist consciousness of life experienced

and now comes forward in full color and emotive

realization clearing pathways suppressed

one could take control at this point of time

applying lucid recognition to the astral plane

directing the conscious into desired

dreamscapes, scenerios, and instructional

learnings

however this path is not so easily traveled

filled with multiplied dimensions of infinite

directions not easily manipulated by the

minimal experience of adventurous dreamers

yet a worthy goal to obtain and master

by now the brain has altered its state and

has run the course of alpha through theta and

awakening returns to beta

and consciousness creates...

its next motive

I like that image - heavenly enlightenment
specifically targeted to the one who desires it.
Reminds me of that verse in the Bible that says:
"Ye have not because ye ask not."

The simile you employ for bliss is way cool.
And the poem is top shelf deb. Really!
One of your best insights.
Light and Wisdom ...

There is so much expressed within your verses, Debby; truly a write worthy of far more than a single reading. You make me feel as though I am a tiny part of the "big picture" and yet an essential part. Thank you. Love and best wishes,
