| Vickie, Venetian glass, more specifically the glass of Murano,(the Murano Islands of Venice) is a very special art form. Some of the most beautiful and stunning glass work I have ever had the pleasure of viewing. I still have an unfinished poem about Murano and its world renowned glassblowers. I read your poem over a few times to savor the essence of artistic renderings you are complimenting. May peace love and joy be always with you my dear friend. Jon Michael |

| I agree. I feel that art classes are the heart of schools. What are they without heart? |

I feel as though I went on a Kaliedscope ride through wonderland..
You are right, taking art classes or homemaking classes out of the schools is a downright shame...These kids will never learn life skills or develop a skill that they may really be good at..How do they know if they are not exposed to it????? Don't get me started here thats for sure..I have been saying this for way too many years.
Much peace, love and light,

I can imagine an old wizen gem cutter reflecting on life whilst gazing into the depths of his gems. There is (for me) an ancient setting to your poem, like the Artisans of ancient Egypt.
However you read it, it's a great piece of poetry Vickie!
Best wishes,
David |
