| I LIKE THIS UNIQUE LOOK AT LIFE...IT IS SO TRUE. IT BEGINS WITH OUR FIRST BREATH OF LIFE AND ENDS WITH OUR LAST...AS LONG AS WE'RE STILL HERE THERE ARE PIECES TO BE ADDED TO THE PUZZLE...WHEN IT'S COMPLETE...WE'RE READY TO MOVE ON. I like this concept and it is such a wise one with a fabulous way to look at life. Some pieces may not fit so we need to find the ones that do. Great job Dawn.

Nice thoughts Dawn, life is the puzzled pieces we are left to create our own finalized picture, it can be created within a day and or it can be built within years of absorbing and becoming the very pieces we place together...we are a self created image...
nice thoughts...

I've just read this piece after editing putting online my new piece. It was surprising to read something where "pieces (that) eventually make up the whole". Telepathy.

Dawn,
Within the deliberate confines of your expression, not a waste word or phrase here, you have expressed an entire becoming and process we all are part of, what we strive for ultimately. Excellent poem.

Puzzles are great and can perhaps resolve in myriads of ways, according to circumstance, experience and permutation. But I do wonder if there is just ONE perfect plan, ONE perfect outcome, all things being equal? The yeast in the leaven is, of course, free will. But our disadvantage, if you like, is not being able to have the complete OVERVIEW at any one time in order to properly evaluate and inform our choices... it's a matter of working with and unfolding whatever happens along. We don't hold all the pieces in our hands at the same time, so, at best, we can only work with what we have in hand at any one time... AND I'M RAMBLING!!! Just don't let me loose near a chess board!!!!!!!!!!!! A cool thought-provoker, Dawn, thank you. xx

Very intellectually astute and spiritually moving. Each of us as individuals is always moving toward "something" - we do have a say in what that "something" will be (how we arrange the pieces - what fits, what doesn't). The something can range from stagnation to aspiration and beyond. In a broader sense, we are collectively also moving toward "something" as One Being, the collective whole. And we each/all have a say in that too. Wouldn't it be nice to see a concerted effort - and I mean that literally (in concert) - among all to mindfully move toward something good and right and divine.

I see the truth in these few lines. We matter. We matter a great deal more than we might think for it is not what is on the outside which will remain but that which is on the inside, that evolving force within which says, "This is me this minute, this hour, and this day." I enjoyed this poem very much Dawn. Thank you for sharing it with us. J'nia

I maintain, if you are true to yourself, you never "make up the whole," because to sit still when you believe you have conquered it all and are ""whole" is a recipe for disaster. I firmly think that we must always keep striving to make ourselves better in our own eyes, not the eyes of others. And so saying, we should never be satisfied and feel that we have completed the "whole" of us. There is always room for more. Just saying . ..
