raped by the dark abyss |
|
drowned in black rivers many a time
feel the pain, feel the sorrow
kept within her mind
darkness encompasses her soul
she breaks away, we need her here
and she needed us, we did not know
oh sacred Angel, come back now
feel the Earth mourn the loss
feel the Heavens take her in
upon the blurring stars of night
my head is numb, my thoughts are grim
oh loving Mother, loving friend
won't you hold me once again?
oh painful memories
taking lives
taking mothers...taking wives.

This is an excellent work of poem...your thoughts grasp the reader from beginning to end...memories and nightmares of or by realities can dungeon within the soul...it is the seeking of motherly love that conquers those views of darkness...
an exceptional piece...
enjoyed....

This was honey down my throat, speaking to me through the eyes, the way in which the words dance through each other!
