the interests of others fell on deaf ears
to the one who once heard beauty and all
and the christian word flew with the winds
or, at least to the next man she'd call
losing her identity and youth brought forth fears

said she was a faithful wife who married
the college grad who talked in, told grace
held some dignity in her governments doings
freelancing grants bored a woman in 2nd place
juggling men was the job she now carried

but, she coulda been any other, ya see
others are honest of their infidelity and boast
and the snakes slither only at the late night
never matters if it's east or, west coast
they lose the inner truth to themselves ya see

not the judge and not the jury told or, sworn
not an angel in that realm of wrong "n" right
just hate to see an angel lose her identity
something about a woman crying alone at night
when she's givin up her mothers lessons, born

this was written about a woman.but, it includes men just as well........don't sell yourself for an ounce of "make me feel good for my temporary friends" oh well....................
