a time will come
when you'll awake
another child lies bleeding
this is our disgrace

you can keep your bullets
"n" your neighbors sword
times are for keeping
"n" death rings in your word

a boy awakened in silence
lies dead in your street
how will you sleep tonight?
some lives never sleep

how were we to know?
shots ringing in the air
my God he was a child
Death is a childs blanket...
