| Erica, how wondeful is your poetry. You know I knew I knew you. From written by me right? Gosh, your poetry was familiar, and kept tugging at my heart strings. Love and welcome back to AD. Bill |

God, I love reading the reviews. The women relate and the guys hit on you (generally). You certainly have an eye for form, bringing the theme full circle and the such. The word "soul" works in this piece, but I suggest refraining from using abstract cliches like "soul" and "heart." We've heard them a million times before and they don't really conjure an image, do they?
Clearly, a poet with Pontius Pilate in her arsenal can paint a picture of her soul and her heart that is specific and strong and...I can't wait to read what you write next. |

--- most excellent writing
---VVVery well written...
I like this best!
Sometimes the soul cries
You mock your futile emotion
Like Pontius Pilate
Cleansing the blood on his hands
Blinded by your father’s philosophy
And your brothers’ religion.
I'll be back. |

| I used to think the pain would never heal. Once I surrendered to the pain and allowed myself to swim through it as if I were going from one side of a murky lake to the next... I amazed myself and found strength and joy and courage. Good luck on your own journey. |
