Imagine The End

As I cut the vessels of my life
The essence oozed profusely
Shut my eyes
As tears ebbed
And recalled my life
In vain.
The pain I tried to strife
My breath I seized
Firmly I gripped my mouth
As wound unfolded
Once more.
Slowly my mind drifted
Lost in the madness of a sunset
Like a scarlet dream
Too vivid and too dark
Scared and cold
I fall open.
And then as light subsides
Found myself praying
A childs prayer
From a million dreams
I abandoned.
Lastly, I whispered
I commend my spirit
To the purple void
Of nothingness
As I smiled my eyes dilated
I cease into the hollow darkness
Of my lonely room.
