Written after watching a programme on TV about Nuclear Stuff!

June 23 1988...1:14 in the a.m.

Dodd Street, Hillsborough, Sheffield England

Has man a self destructine wish? I really do not know

It seems from sources that I see, Our World could yet be blown

Into the void of outer space, fragmented energy

Our life source dead beyond all hope. Where's that leave you and me?

Am I so dumb and so naive that what I see is wrong?

Our scientists can build and use a Mega Death Blast Bomb

Obliterating everything for many years to come

A cloud of rodioactive dust. No more we'll see the Sun!

No problem that for we won't see because we won't be there

We'd all be little bits of dust, just bits of atmosphere!

But that's not all, it won't end there, our dust will still endure

Contaminating other worlds on a Death Dust Galaxy Tour!

I could go on, but what's the point, for if you still can't see

And think that I'm a pessimist, you're wrong, it's not just me!

Around Our World small voices speak the words of Love and Peace

Does anybody hear at all the havoc they could wreak?

What can we do to stop the worst that Man can do to Man?

I wish I knew I wish I had a better Master Plan!

In fact I do, but it's not mine, I've simply joined along

The many voices speaking out in Poetry and Song

I do believe there is a way, a way of Words and Deeds

Of Sense and Logic, Love of Man, to save our Human Creed!

To Man in street and Woman too, please make your voices heard

Join in the voice so small just now, join in a spread Love's Word

To Politicians Powerful and Planners Military

Please hear our words of Love and Peace and let our children be!

Well said and thought through. Now if only all the leaders around the world could understand, life could be so much better....

Trouble is, without all this conflict, the powerful politicians and military planners would be ... unemployed. And, since they are running things, they will not allow that to happen. If only we could take all of the world's powerful politicians and military planners and ... outsource them to some totally useless jungle planet where they could hunt each other to extinction. But, I am afraid that, among the world's population, there are far too many predators willing to replace them. Terrible situation!

I love your message, though!
