Too Blessed To Be Stressed

Here's a poem that I have found to be uplifting at some of my lowest points.

Too Blessed To Be Stressed

I was laid off from my job yesterday
And I was feeling rather depressed
But I woke up this morning with the attitude
That I am too blessed to be stressed

When I look back over my life
And all the trials that I’ve been through
I realize that it’s just one of those moments in life
So my mind I will renew

I focus on the fruits of the Spirit
And the fact that I am still here
And that my purpose has not been fulfilled yet
And I know that God is still near

I know that He hears me
And sees every tear I cry
I know He said He would comfort me
I know that He cannot lie

He sends the Holy Spirit to guide me to
A place of tranquility and peace
He alleviates all of my worries
And causes my anxieties to cease

Even though we live in a time of uncertainty
And the world is in distress
I am a daughter of the King
I am too blessed to be stressed!!

Yes how very true, a King's daughter is blessed and held by Him.

Beautiful, Zahra. Even at our lowest, that's when He moves and does a miracle! Found that out the last three days! Was nearly out of food, He provided through friends; a bit of finances; today, was with my best friend, she had a flat...God provided assistance from a disabled stranger! Ain't God good (all the time). :)

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

Tracking you, so I don't miss another blessing!!

I told myself I only have time to read one this morning, and scrolled down to find "the one." I made a good choice!

The King's Kids can rest in His care, no matter what comes.
Sometimes it seems like a contradiction, but yes, He gives peace and victory through the storms of life.

I like the poem's title and love its message. Sounds like how I think of my life, but you've written it so simply and beautifully.
