The Secret to an Abundant Life!
|
Mediocrity is where most of us live
That is, until we learn,
How to sacrificially give
Expecting nothing in return.
Letting go of self-centered nature
Doesn’t come easy, you know.
But, one thing is for sure.
It is prerequisite to grow.
By reaching out to others
When we are feeling blue,
A cloak of discontent smothers,
As we listen to God’s cue.
Obediently following His lead,
Brings gratitude and praise.
By planting another seed,
we'll add abundance to our days.
The thief's purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My
purpose is to give life in all its fullness. John 10:10(NLT)

| My good Friend Donna Barnes came with her husband to trim the weeds and bushes in my yard last eve. I was so appreciative of them and she said they like to do things and are always doing things for people. So is my sister -in =law Ruth Anne in NJ. Helpful people are good christians too. |

Wise words. Putting others first for Jesus' sake is not always an easy thing, but it is the best thing.

Wonderful write on the art of giving. A refreshing way to be in a society where far to many are selfish. To give without asking for anything in return in doing God's work....
Be safe,
