Who says chilvary is dead?

He wraps his love and his arms around me
defending me from my fears
protecting me from my worries.

He shows his knightly training by
carrying 10 bulging bags of groceries up three flights
of stairs and will allow me to carry only a light one.

He brings me breakfast in bed on those mornings he wakes up first
(which is most mornings) and my favorite:
which is french vanilla cappaccino and blueberry muffin.

He gets me a drink before bed
just so I can take my medication
and fills up the humidifier every day.

He changes the cat litter weekly
because he knows I am allergic to
the dust that doing it brings.

He holds me when I am tearful or happy
He is as proud of me as I am him
He is my knight in shining armor.

LOL! Yep, he has two brothers. Both of them the biggest bums and jerks you've ever seen. (Boy, could I tell you some stories!) My knight was the youngest of the three boys. Mike's father died when he was nine...and they were raised by their single parent mother...who bless her, died before I knew Mike. She did a good job with Mike and unfortunately knew that her other two were squirts.

Thank you all for reading my some what syrupy tribute to my own knight. AND....Yes, Elizabeth, we ARE blessed AND lucky babes! ;) Silver

Sounds like you have one of the few of us left remaining lol, just kidding I doubt if my wife would describe me so vividly. I am sure he also appreciates what a true jewell he has found in your heart and love.

A Fine Tribute to your Knight in Shing Armor, and I salute him as one of the Litter Box Brigade myself. But I hope my spouse doesn't read this since I haven't brought her breakfast in bed in quite awhile - I've been too busy walking the dogs and cleaning those litter boxes!

You are indeed blessed by God, Celtic to have such a loving and understanding partner !
And that is a gorgeous surreal picture which sets the scene for the composition !
I am with you on the french vanilla cappaccino and blueberry muffin. !

How wonderful it is to not only write about a Prince Charming but to have one in your life everyday. Congrats on both accounts.
