| Thoroughly concur. Better words not said at all. Even worse, perhaps, are those words which don't come because of an admission that contrition isn't even felt. Worse than empty words are empty feelings. Very sound work. xx |

Abuse, no matter the delivery method, only escalates over time. Forgiving them over and over again makes us an enabler. It is a sad situation but we must learn that we cannot fix them. They are broken and the only chance they have at repair is if they seek a cure, themselves. It takes both desire and belief to change habits. Well done, Lori.

| Can't argue with the logic within the confines of this work, Lori. If I hear the news media asking some degenerate murdering s.o.b. if he is sorry one more time I think I will throw something through the television. I realize you were writing this on a more personal note, but the same applies to both. Saying you are sorry over and over again doesn't take long to wear on a person. |
