The truth always prevails... sometimes, post mortem. The righteous seem to forget that it was the policies they hold to that got us to this mess. They have no take with scientific reason and thus slow human progress and cause and exacerbate crises.
Galileo was a heretic. Gandhi was a rabble-rouser. Pasteur was an alchemist.

| I knew I'd logged out too soon and had to check back in. People need to get off their dead asses and take care of their personal responsibilities starting with their lazy ass kids who can't manage to complete a "free" public education and instead belly up the public trough after the 8th grade after the birth of their 2nd child whose father is in jail for stealing cars trying to help dad who'd screwed the system by buying 22 homes on "stated credit" hoping to flip them for obscene profit only to find a dead market propagated by greedy bankers and crooked politicians who were convinced a burger flipper at MacDonalds making 6 bucks an hour could afford a $300,000 home. Woof. |

Propaganda of false freedom, false rights and patriotism are leading people to be indifferent to the Constitition. The disrespect to the Constitution and its violation is evident everywhere in USA.
"Polarized" rings the bells of social responsibility.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts in poetic expressions.

"Singin' songs and carryin' signs. Mostly say, 'Hooray for our side!'"
Has our country ever been as polarized as it is today? It's hard to say. Stephen Stills wrote those words in the mid-1960's when our country was divided over the war in Viet Nam. And what about 100 years before that when the issue was slavery. Has it always been this way?
Your poem is very well written and very relevant, intelligently analyzing a problem that touches all of our lives and will have a great deal of impact on our future. |

Words too true to be settling. We each need to understand that freedom is lost when someone else is providing us with everything. Gusee what, they will believe that they own us and essentially we are granting them the right to control our lives on every level. If we want to be free, we must be responsible for ourselves and take charge of our lives.
Take care,
