The Tattoo

Remembering Beverly Nash

Her first name was common, her entity was not.....
She loved to venture into the park, where she was shot.....
Her hair was as bright as the sun, it flowed with the city breeze.....
She never had the chance, to love and to please.....
She was a Goddess, I would never forget.....
She was eloquent, she was my kismet.....
She is gone now, the world is without her charm.....
I will never forget Beverly, I have her name tattooed on my right arm.....
