I originally wrote "Azalea's In Bloom"
in 1980, after Mother's Day when everything was so much in bloom, especially the colorful Azalea's.

This poem will be in my next book of poetry.

It's a very lovely Mother's Day

Azalea hedges are in full bloom

A beautiful, colorful display

Another spring season abloom

Homes, driveways, sidewalks

The sight makes passerby’s gawk

When it’s Mother’s Day

Along the highways

The roadsides are a delight

Azalea’s make a pretty sight
