I wrote this poem in the London Heathrow Airport while waiting for a connecting flight to go to my wedding. Not quite sure what category to put it in. To be published in my new book Through The Windows To My Soul.

Time moves so very slowly,
Yet passes by much too fast.
Longing for tomorrow only,
Today seems to linger and last.

Darkness falls and takes over,
Bright stars twinkle in the sky.
Daylight continues to hover,
Blinding night's beauty with its light.

Dusk slips in with evening's mist,
Night's magic brings dreams alive.
Dawn's first kiss of dew, night resists.
Reality is now revived.

Day begins with twinkles of the last star,
Night goes to sleep as it has traveled far.
