of Love’s eternal expression—
life within Trinity, life within
the Body of Christ among us. 

With gift of ring and heart,
you are a sacrament of love. 
One with the Universe,
you light creation’s days and nights
with incandescent warmth.

Your mirrored lives
speak to us of First Man,
First Woman, tasting ecstasy,
testing in your shared weakness
love’s unreachable limit.

May your hearts overflow
with new life—begotten,
nurtured, enjoyed;
may your home be a place
where grace resides.

Out of your love, let flow
a spread of suns and moons
for Creator God to welcome,
make room for, and
enfold in heavenly embrace.

When stars collapse
and galaxies sleep in death,
when nothing remains of Earth,
your love-bond will endure
in the essence of divinity.

And may the peace of Christ
abide within you, give you strength
and joy all the days of your lives.
