A little license with a favorite carol.

Twelve Days of Spring

 

One the twelfth day of spring

My True Love sent to me

Twelve quail scattering,

Eleven songbirds singing,

Ten children biking

Nine sunflowers blooming

Eight clouds condensing

Seven hailstones falling

Six friends a-laughing,

Five pink-swathed trees

Four waiting books

Three miles of trail

Two happy dogs

And serendipity for the day.
