The sun can bring hope, but so can our loved ones who always offer an ear or a shoulder.
|
You are my sunshine; my sweet light
You make the world seem pure and right
You are, indeed, a blessed sight
You brighten every day.
I’ve never questioned you at all
You’ve made my worries seem so small
Your heart, so true ; I had to fall
You’re special, in your way.
You bring me joy; you make me smile
You’ve walked with me, along each mile
You’ve cared, because that is your style
You send hope, through your rays.
I’m glad you walk this road with me
I know the best is yet to be
There’s no one else I’d want to see
You’ll always have my praise.
