A tongue in cheek exercise.

My penetralian storehouse

of creativity long ago bustled

all spheres of novelty I sought

with the lust of a pubescent lad

in the presence of beauteous lasses

my literary evolution and decline have me

relocated into a hovel of subservience

scribing the hackwork of Grub Street

dubious employment befitting

the sub bard status I bear

as a baronet, of the mundane and trite

writing spiced with nothing more exciting

than a dram of leftover houseleek

used to season my poetic dishes

the measure of bubble and squeak

though I feel hastened to recreate

from my pendulous repertoire of verbiage

a poetic masterpiece of caviar

my creativity lingers among the houting

Jon,
You are very clever! In another context and with a few changes this could well be CivilServiceSpeak, and with no punctuation save for one comma, the flow is perfect for the intent. Well well done!

Jon,

Somehow, these words bring to mind a man suffering from ED - you wanna, but it's not willing to rise to the occasion - know what I mean? However, in this case, you persisted and triumphed! Well done. :)

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
