My dear Karen Lynn,
Let me say this straight-out without reservation: You are one of my absolute favorite writers in AuthorsDen. No doubt about it!
You see, once I got over reading Dr. Seuss to my kids--my baby is 46 years old, now, and she finally said, "Enough already, Dad"--I had only one place to turn: Karen Lynn Vidra, The Texas Tornado. And I'm sorry, Dr. S, but I don't miss you at all.
With love, admiration and a truckload of respect,
Richard

Karen, well said, so very well said! The words of a beautiful person and wonderful person. You are very Blessed my friend, never forget it! The line about Texas brought a smile to my face. LOL
"Live in Texas, called the Lone Star State,
People I love, weather I hate!
Too hot in summer, too many storms,
Bugs, the bugs come in giant swarms.
Not cold enough, not much snow here,
A winter weather fan's worst fear"!
As a neighbor here in Oklahoma, I hear ya gf. Love those mountains and lakes too!Give me a huge stand of pine trees, mountains and a soft breeze with my favorite country music and I guess that is about the closest to heaven I will get untill my Lord returns!
Hugs

OF COURSE you are a person before whatever disability you may have - and, believe me, we all have them, whether they be of body, mind or spirit. You are salt and light and jewel in the Lord's crown and I wish that we all could wear our colours as nobly! Fantastic write and personality sketch of a tremendous writer, as well! OMG sister Karen, for sure. Even though I thought that the Lord was angry at me for some reason, I soon learned that wasn't the case. None of us are cursed. We are the blessed children of God, and through His Son Jesus, we will come to enjoy everlasting life. But for now tho, we have to struggle, it is part of being human. This poem really sent me backwards to when I was a child. Many things spoken here are very true. thnx for sharing karen, and as always, May the Lord be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love, peace, & (((HUGS))), your very dear friend in Wisconsin and sister in Christ our Lord,
Barbara Lynn Terry

Karen, your life is blessed by we who love you at AD, and by God in Heaven, Who will make things right in the end; when we reach Paradise. I know how life can be a struggle. When I was a fall down
drunk, I had terrible jobs. Washed and bussed a million dishes. Only when I sobered up did I find a measure of freedom and keep out of jail. You are a winner in life Karen. You have overcome so many obstacles and continue to do so. AND YOU WILL OVERCOME MANY MORE.
GOD LOVES YOU. LET HIM GUIDE YOUR HAND AND FILL YOUR HEART ALWAYS.
I love you to Karen, like a Sister I never had. Hugs always.
p.s. Tears fall and they are not crocodile tears, but tears of comfort and peace for you dear Lady. xoxox Bill |
