So real it's sureal. Poignant write.
So enjoyed the Indian Summer of my beloved northwoods Wisconsin. With his collar, Dad is up, breathing on his own, talking, and exercising. His sores are healing, and, with time, he may do more than hang on again.

| I really appreciate the compassion that is evident in all your poetry...and, I should add, you seem to compose and rhyme so effortlessly. This one just chugs along like a freight train, and then suddenly there is the prose section which brings the sobering reality and tugs at the heart's empathy. Well done. |

ok sis, this is very good. I didn't know that she had wandered about. Is it safe for a 10½ year old girl to be by herself??? Lovely write sis, I enjoy the Ronee stories very much, it's just that I haven't been feeling all that well lately. I'll climb back up. But right now tho, poems seem to be all I can really handle. | These are endearing and captivating stories, Karen and I would love to see you continue them... if you are revisiting them now, perhaps you DO have this in mind?! It would be well-worth it! You bring Ronee alive and through her we could perhaps gain insight and understanding as to her "condition" and her perspectives on life. She has such youthful vibrancy, we could all learn and receive much from her... like her "creator", perhaps?! WTG Ronee!! The weaving in of the French is delightful and adds a sparkle, too.!
