A young girl shares her list of what she wants for Christmas in poetry form.

Dear Santa~
Christmas..can you believe it is almost here?
What DO I want? Oh, I can't remember, I fear!
But here goes nothing; I'll just write it down on a piece of paper,
And I hope that when you DO shop for me, it doesn't turn into a caper!
I want new winter clothes, coat, mittens, hat, scarf, boots~
Because if I get cold, you know that my joints will go into cahoots!
I also want paper, pens, paints--any brand would do~
I am a budding artist, and I am a budding writer, too!
Also want new forearm crutches; the ones I have now are getting old~
Would like a Cajun CD, too, wherever Cajun music is sold!
I do not want much this year; but I have been a very good girl,
And what do I really want? peace and love for our old world!

*Oh, yeah..and please bring me a case of rootbeer, too! (That is a hint to my favorite Ohio friend, Robert Blackwell...HINT, HINT....) Thanks! :D
