A Warm Puppy Pome

Oh cuddly puppy with snuffling nose,

That piddles so warmly upon my toes,

Your cuteness factor goes off the chart,

With every silent puppy fart.

I dedicate this pome to you,

My little producer of puppy-poo.

Despite your faults you make me smile

Although I slip in every pile.

For where can one find such a friend

With which to explore ‘round every bend,

Who uncomplaining always is,

As long as he can sniff and whiz.

Forget the cats and kittens too,

That neatly bury their effluent goo,

They’ve never yet giv’n me a laff,

As much as you’ve managed to, by half!
