Mythos Mysteriosa Feminina
I am haunted by a soporific vision,
My days and nights, my every waking thought
Suffusing!
The stuff of mists and ethereal vapors;
Rare and indistinct scents and half-images,
Intoxicating!
Never the same, forever changing,
Ever discharging currents electrical and
Incapacitating!
Near, almost within my outstretched reach,
But never close at hand, blurred form furiously
Scintillating!
The phantom of these dreams
Has me in its sweat-stained, taloned clutches,
Unresisting!
Every atom of me knows well this familiar,
Yet knows it not, hidden behind its vagueness,
Inviting!
Though I sleep, it remains stridently awake,
Drawing me closer to its sinewed belly, insanely
Feeding!
The only certain knowledge I have
Of it: its exhausting, insatiable, alluringly savage
Mating!
