Please donít open your eyes
Keep them closed
For you are too young
To see what I do
To never open them
Would be too early for you
She calls out to you
Keep them closed
Ignore the noise

Oh if you open them now
Youíll lose that smile
Oh if you open them now
Every step in this world
Will seem like a mile

Life is so much easier
Walking blindly
Life is so much simpler
When you cannot see
You need a second skin
Protect the innocence within
I didnít mean to bring you here
Please forgive me

Oh if you open them now
Youíll lose that smile
Oh if you open them now
Every step in this world
Will seem like a mile

I didnít mean to bring you here
Please, please forgive me
