Christians... Shame on you!
With Love and Kindness did He draw us.

Pride...before the Fall!

I... walk a path
straight and tall
As sin abounds
I am appalled

Sinners grab and they beg
they touch my clothes
But I push them down
For iniquity I loathe

I show them the error
of their evil way
I quote the wages
their sin will pay

...As time goes on...

I'm steady on my path
Though it's become a bit curved and frayed
I'm still better than them
Even on an abrupt downgrade

They're yet worse than I
They'll never ever learn
to be 'HUMBLE' like ‘ME’
And praises to earn

For I sing in the choir
I usher in the aisles
I‘m clean~starched~and pressed
NO sin - doth ‘ME’ - defile

...With the progression of time...

I continue eagerly on my path
so what... it's crooked and looped
let them slander ~ accuse ~ and say to me
to their level I have finally stooped

they think its me~but I know its them
They just don’t understand
the devil's trying hard to get me
because I'm the better man (woman)

But surely I have taught them well
seems some of 'them' comprehend
‘Cause now we're eye~to~eye
They even call me friend

But I'll remain HUMBLE...
And won't forget to pray
that those sinners COMPLETELY see
the sins that block their way!!!

Interesting ponderings... "Pride before the FALL...." touches a sensitive subject.

In admiration,
