40 Days In The Desert

He wandered without water the desert sun shone down brightly .
The blistering heat got hotter .
Without a drop of water .
All of the tears he shed were dry ,
There was no water there .
For forty days he was alone .
No one knew . No one cared .
He was like a desert so dry and hot .
He couldn't think .
In his weakness he was tempted ,
With no water to drink he cried .
Quench me please I want to live older than thirty .
Wash me with cool water my body's dusty and dirty .
He was trying . He was crying . He was dying out there .
In the dark night of the soul there was no water to spare .
Day after day he walked on and then he began to crawl .
Feeling lower than dust until he felt was nothing at all .
Jesus was in the desert without an end to his prayer .
There was no one who could have gave him water .
Do you care ?

Well yes I do and Jesus fullfilled the prophecy and I care a great deal about that.
