The Sun For A Gown

The sun flowed out of the skye
today
to charm my ribs delight
to expand into the morning like a bird
down my throat
molten
in the dawn
to clothe me in radiant textures
spun on the eternal loom of a woman's hands
baking bread in a kiln of delightful memories
running through the grass
gown held high out of the mud
laughing wicked delight
with wolves chasing
nipping love
at little bare heels
stallions on back hooves
enchanted and joyful
spinning spirits through the skies
across the open lands
with the honey breeze bees
dawn like arms
wrapped so warm around the hips
coils of ligt
serpent sleek;
these are the only veils I wear anymore
The allure is smooth cordials down the throat
alluring
luring me out of a winter den
to drink the sunshine through my skin
to unfold into a golden gown
a spring rose
delicate
inside my throat
blooming

"wrapped so warm around the hips"
All of these descriptions touch our senses
and our feelings too. Very feminine and (thus) full of light.

You have wrapped my psyches winter coat in a veil of a thousand sun warmed sonnets. All things now bloom full to the allure of golden prismatic rays of sunshine. Another quintessential, lyrical masterpiece. I humbly bow before your mastery of crafted, verbal beauty. Jon Michael Willey

Flowing, enchanting, musical, whimsical, beautiful, there are not enough adjectives to describe the magic you write and share with us. I for one am blessed to escape into the world you create with your pen. Cheers, Deborah
