Quite a Temper

the TV ad says
I didn't see it
coming,
and I didn't.

that mood of yours,
first flippant,
then flipping off.

No middle finger,
just an anger
too hot to voice,
a sizzle not about me,
but about something
other, something
deep
I must have touched
but didn't know
when or how.
