DARK IS THE FEELING
DARK IS THE FEELING,
DEEP DOWN INSIDE,
WISH AT TIMES,
IT WOULD JUST GO AWAY.
BEEN A LONG DAY,
THE SAME AS THEM ALL,
NOTHING GOOD, NOTHING SPECIAL,
JUST THE SAME AS THEM ALL.
GOT ME A LETTER,
FELT GOOD TO HEAR,
ALWAYS FEELS GOOD ,
WHEN I HEAR FROM MY DEAR.
MY MIND IS TWISTED,
TRY TO THINK STRAIGHT,
BUT GUESS ITS JUST FATE,
CAN’T GET IT STRAIGHT,
SO KEEP BEATING,
MY HEAD ON THE WALL.
MY MIND IS RACING,
JUST KEEPS ON SPACING,
WONDERING IF I’M GETTING IT ALL.
FOR SOME REASON,
THIS ONE FEELS SUCH UNREST,
LIKE SOMETHING IS LURKING,
JUST OVER THE FENCE.
KEEP SEEING BLOOD,
KEEP SEEING MURDER,
ALL OF IT SEEMS TO EXCITE ME.
WHAT HAS BEEN DONE TO THIS ONE,
TO CAUSE SUCH UNREST.

Well done! A chilling reminder of what can happen to us innocent victims. I work in the prison ministry and yes, I hear the reasons why. Most say it is because of drugs. Yes, large amounts of beer and whiskey included. They tell me they wake up the next day is a cell and don't understand why themselves. The devil is in the drug? Unfortunately they are right.
Take care,
